MARGOT MASSENET

Pluridisciplinar Designer

I am a French multidisciplinary sustainable designer working to collaborate with living organisms. In addition to my work on innovation, I am a recognised animal painter, with multiple Best Young Artist awards in the Animal Arts Exhibition in Paris.
I studied at the Sustainable Design School in Nice where I developed a scientific approach in my research. As a student, I led major projects with measurable environmental impact such as up-cycling auto parts for automotive manufacturer Renault, shaping new eco neighbourhoods for energy company EDF, and looking 50 years ahead, creating utopian sustainable value propositions for French luxury houses.
In 2019, I joined the Master in Bio Design at Central Saint Martins in London.  I developed experimental projects on biomaterials, bacteria dyes, and mycelium tiles, and methodologies to harness human and non-human centred design.
